1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Go Camp Scout website and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Natalia Schlauch ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing camps, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Account & Credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to: using the Service for any unlawful purpose; transmitting spam, malware, or harmful code; infringing intellectual property rights; attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; scraping or harvesting data without permission; or interfering with the security or availability of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and materials provided through the Service are owned by Natalia Schlauch or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

6. Service Level

We strive to keep the Service available and functioning correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Payment, Subscriptions & Refunds

Certain features of the Service require payment. Payment processing, billing, tax collection, subscription management, and refunds are handled by our online reseller, Paddle.com. By making a purchase, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which govern all payment-related matters. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions automatically renew for the same term unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings. For refund requests, please see our Refund Policy.

8. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

9. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including: material breach of these Terms; non-payment; security or fraud risk; or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the total amount you paid to us in the six months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Oregon.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
